Saint Anthony's offers many opportunities to serve God through His Church and the community.
Lectors
This ministry is a ministry of the Word of God. Those who are good at public speaking or have a natural talent of being in front of others should consider this ministry. The lector does not read, but rather proclaims the scripture at the Sunday Eucharist.
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist
Extraordinary Ministers serve the Body and Blood of Christ to our parish family. Their service at the Lord’s Table grows out of their reverence of the sacrament and the people they serve. Additionally, Eucharistic Ministers are also asked to take communion to the sick and shut-ins of the parish.
Cantors
Cantors' primary roles are to encourage the congregation to sing and to proclaim the Word of God through the Psalms. Cantors are required to attend regularly scheduled rehearsals. Cantors sing at the 4:00 pm, 8:00 am and 10:30 am Masses.
Altar Servers
Assist the priest and the sacristans in serving at the Lord’s table for weekend, holy day, funeral, and wedding liturgies. If interested, training begins after the child receives their First Holy Communion. This is open to all young men and women in the parish.

Sacristans
Sacristans ensure that the church is ready for the celebration of Mass.
Some duties include preparing the Sacred Vessels used at Mass, setting the Books
to the proper readings, that the Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers, Altar
Servers, etc assigned to the Mass are present. Assist the Altar Servers with
clean-up after Mass and be sure the church is secured.
